Abstract: COME ALONG AND SEE EX WORLD BOXING CHAMPION NIGEL BENN TO CAPTAIN THE HELP FOR HEROES TWENTY/20 CRICKET MATCH BETWEEN A MALLORCA SELECT XI AND EX-SERVICEMEN'S XI.

  FORMER WORLD CHAMPION BOXER NIGEL BENN WILL CAPTAIN  THE EX-SERVICEMEN'S XI...He is an ex Royal Fusilier and Jamie Squibb (pictured with Nigel) is ex Royal Engineers, the pair met and served together in Germany in the 1980's.          

Make sure you enter this date your diary: Wednesday 3rd March when a Twenty/20 cricket match between a Mallorca Select XI and an Ex-Servicemen's XI will take place. There will be a Hog Roast by Lifestyle Catering, entertainment by the glamorous songbird Izzy Newman plus a grand raffle/auction. Prizes are: A framed Manchester United football shirt personally signed by soccer star Paul Scholes. There is a three night/four day stay at the Marriott Son Antem Resort in one of the garden villas in which six people may stay. The winners will also have use of the five star hotels facilities including golf and spa treatments. Other prizes include dinner for two at  at the exclusive Bacchus Restaurant Read's Hotel in Santa Maria. Handmade chocolates by Henriettas Chocolates and a tanning session from Palma Nova's Cutting Room are among the prizes generously donated. Tickets may be purchased in advance from The Ship in Portals Nous or on the day.
